Terms of Service

Effective date: March 11, 2026. These terms govern access to Image Conversion Hub. They are drafted to match the current product behaviour in this repository, but they are still a template and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production launch.

Permitted use

You may use Image Conversion Hub only to convert image files that you have the right to upload and process. You must not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or malware-bearing content, and you must not use the service to benchmark, scrape, overload, or automate abuse against the underlying serverless infrastructure.

Fair-use controls

Anonymous visitors receive a browser-session quota and each conversion is also evaluated against an IP-based budget. Limits may change without notice to protect service availability, and the operator may suspend or reject requests that appear abusive, automated, or inconsistent with the published workflow.

Retention and deletion

Converted files are intended to remain available for no more than 24 hours. Files may be deleted earlier when required for security, moderation, maintenance, storage-cap management, or compliance. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any source and converted files.

Your content

You retain your rights in the content you upload. You grant the operator a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to host, process, transmit, scan, store temporarily, and delete the files solely for operating, securing, troubleshooting, and enforcing the service.

No warranty

Image Conversion Hub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, non-infringement, and error-free operation. Converted output may differ in quality, metadata, colour profile, transparency handling, or browser compatibility depending on source format and codec support.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of files, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or data arising out of or related to Image Conversion Hub. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of EUR 50 or the amount you paid for the service during the previous 12 months, which for the current free service is generally zero.

Operator, law, and contact

The service operator is the service operator. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's primary place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions, complaints, or legal notices should be sent to contact details to be added before launch.
